GWEEK SEAL SANCTUARY ZINE FOR CHILDREN

 

My project aims to promote awareness in young children about environmental issues such as human impact upon our oceans and sea life. This is an illustrated zine that tells a story of a young seal pup. The zine includes information on all the resident seals and rescue pups currently at the sanctuary. The zine aims to take the reader on an imaginative journey following a young seal pup and all of the problems that he encounters, before eventually being rescued. It also includes practical advice to children on what they should do in the event of sighting an injured seal.
